Stanislav Gabriel is an expert in international trade and trade policy. His professional interests include digitalization and digital trade, regulation of artificial intelligence, the sustainable development agenda, including the green (climate and environmental) policy, and economic security (in particular, energy and financial). Prepares analytical materials on the trade policy of WTO members, monitors and analyzes anti-crisis and unilateral restrictive measures affecting international trade.
Previously held the position of expert at the Institute of Trade Policy at the Higher School of Economics and specialized in issues related to the financial support of foreign economic activity and the transport and logistics infrastructure of the EAEU. In the business environment, he worked at X5 Group in the field of tax compliance. He gained international experience in the field of sustainable energy and the smart economy at the Austrian company “NRA International GmbH”.
He received additional professional education in the field of “Organization and development of business in the EU countries: Russian and European experience”. Completed advanced training in the program “Russia and ASEAN in the Asia‑Pacific Region,” as well as “The Future of International Finance.” Holds a number of WTO certificates covering various aspects of trade policy.
Is the author of a number of scientific publications on issues related to international economic relations, digital trade, the use of digital currencies in international trade, industrial policy, economic security, and public procurement.
