Ukraine free trade agreement for the New Year (URA-INFORM, July 25, 2010)

Until the end of 2010 Ukraine will sign an agreement on free trade with CIS countries. Told deputy director of the Department of trade and economic relations with CIS countries and the RF Ministry of Economy Vladimir Shevchenko.

According to officials, representatives of the countries discussed on this issue at the last round of talks (July 15-16, Moscow), and after negotiations are pessimistic and optimistic views on the date of signing of the agreement.

"Optimistic - the end of 2010, pessimistic - the first half of 2011" - said Shevchenko.

Earlier, First Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Klyuyev said: Ukraine supports the initiative of Russia to complete before the end of 2010 to draft a new treaty on the free trade zone of the CIS.
